How to migrate from Plan.io to RedmineUP

Plan.io is a cloud-based project management software that is built on top of Redmine, an open-source project management tool. Therefore, migrating from Plan.io to Redmine involves exporting your Plan.io data and importing it into a self-hosted instance of Redmine. Here are the general steps to follow:

1. Create a cloud account at RedmineUP

Registration of your account takes only a minute and doesn't require a credit card. During the sign up you we'll ask you only about your name, a business mail address and to select a subdomain for your instance. A link to your new account will be sent right after the registration.

2. Export data from Plan.io

The Backup you can download from your Planio account contains a MySQL database dump.

Once you have the data exported from Planio, you should request data migration from RedmineUP support.
